“I’ve always been a big fan of Yang Soon-Yeal’s work in Korea and find her pieces incredibly inspiring. A lot of her creations focus on the theme of motherhood, and I think her Ottogi series beautifully represents a mother’s unconditional love. I was so excited to hear about her upcoming exhibition in Switzerland, with the theme of JEONG. Just the idea of that theme brings to mind feelings of warmth and love, and I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing, heartwarming exhibition.

Yang's works portray humanity and motherhood, offering a sense of comfort in today’s fast-paced world that constantly demands adaptation to new things. Her art reconnects us with our roots and foundation, providing a soothing presence. In particular, her traditional Korean paintings stand out with their unique and unparalleled use of colors, evoking the essence of nature and bringing tranquility. When gazing at her paintings, there is a distinct feeling—while the colors are incredibly soft, the brushstrokes exude strength. This juxtaposition of softness and resilience seems to reflect her sense of motherhood, embodying both gentleness and strength.

I think the human aspect felt in the artist's works also goes well with the exhibition title, 'Jeong'.
I look forward to and support Yang Soon-yeol's art world, which will unfold against the backdrop of Switzerland, where nature is beautiful.

Yang's artworks are even more beautiful when they are harmonized with nature. I have high expectations on how the artist's artworks will unfold in Mother Nature in Switzerland. I think it would be a perfect encounter just by imagining. Congratulations on your encounter between Switzerland and Yang

Your upcoming exhibition, "JEONG," already feels like a masterpiece in the making. The warmth and emotional depth you bring to your art, whether through painting or sculpture, are incredibly moving. It's truly unfortunate that I can't travel to Switzerland to experience it in person, but I hope this marks the beginning of your name, Yang Soon-Yeal, becoming widely recognized in more countries and cities around the world. Your vision deserves to be shared globally.
